are you FediFollows? The thread became rational for avoiding the lemmy.ml instance, but there could be a decent #Lemmy instance by now. I still have to try https://lemmy.glasgow.social to see if there is a censorship problem there.
The problem with #Lemmy software (which all nodes would have) is that users can't control the summary of shared links & that the modlogs can be manipulated.
